Last week (12/2) we held Lunch & Networking # 3 at the Robries workshop in Technopark UPN Surabaya. We were very happy that the stakeholders of plastic waste problems in Greater Surabaya gathered together and exchanged stories. This time OPPA collaborated with Robries, the host, and they explained the furniture production process that they have been processing from plastic waste. The participants were very enthusiastic when Niamah and Tita guided them at the production site. The event was attended by around 25 invitations consisting of communities, waste banks, recycling companies, and also representatives of SMAN 6 Surabaya.
On this occasion the National Plastic Action Partnership team, which is part of the World Economic Forum, was also conducted interviews and documentation to several young innovators related to plastic waste in Surabaya, namely Surabaya River Care, Robries, and the winner of Waste Data Hackaton - iData1011.
